Things have been pretty chill around here lately. Husband and I had a nice and relaxing holiday just us two in our Capitol Hill apartment. I drank exorbitant amounts of coffee, lounged in comfy pajamas, fiddled around with liquid liner and a new shade of red lipstick, did a little drawing and a lot of reading, did a little vintage shopping, and have greeted 2013 with some little dates with some of my best friends. Right now I’m feeling overwhelmingly thankful for all of the blessings in my life. I am such a lucky girl and don’t take enough time to reflect on all of the joys in my life. This year I’d like to spend less time racing and stressing and take more time to stop and smell the roses. I don’t consider that a resolution by any means, just a state of mind I hope to give more thought to in the coming year. Don’t you just love that! I still kind of enjoyed getting up and getting all gussied up for work again, though.
