Hello friends! It’s Tuesday, January 22nd, and officially time for my first ever link-up! Thrifting has been a passion of mine ever since I started prowling my local St. Vincent de Paul for sixties dresses back in middle school. Some of my most prized possessions have been the result of a successful thrifting opportunity. Today I’m sharing a recently thrifted American Eagle trench coat that I found at my favorite local thrift spot, Value Village (Savers to those of you on the east coast…) It was a diamond in the rough and needed a good laundering before wearing, but it has quickly become one of my favorite jackets. It’s no secret that { I. love. green.} and I find this shade seems to go with everything!

My first foray into Value Village was uneventful. Ari Cohen, a pal who’d gone to school here, took me there, and we found nothing. Then I moved down the street from the Crown Hill VV, and got hooked! Major finds, and great deals and now it’s one of my all-time favorite places to vintage hunt!
I love green, especially on you. And ah, yeah I’m going to say it: GREAT hair.

I love, love, love thrifting and the post I linked to has an outfit with three of my favorite thrifted pieces. The more I thrift, the easier it is to incorporate my thrifted items into my closet; love that!
