Well, folks, I’m smack in the middle of a blissful week off from work. I have a date tonight at an interesting restaurant, wine club tomorrow night with my college girlfriends, and am hosting a wedding planning happy hour at my place Friday with one of my best girls and bride-to-be K. and her other bridesmaids. It’s turning out to be quite a fun week! I’ve also been working on some little projects around my apartment, started my taxes (don’t get me started…), and finally tackled that mountain of laundry taking up most of the floor space in my walk-in closet. When you’re out of underoos and breaking hangers underfoot you know it’s time to actually get that laundry done.

I found this sweater at the Zara launch party last week. Although it’s rather simple I love the texture and lines of it and I’d been looking for the perfect black sweater and friends, this might be it. The only trouble is I bought it a size up since Zara sizing runs a bit small, but in retrospect I wish I’d gone home with my regular size. I’m going to zip down there and see if they can help me out. Wish me luck!

Hope you have so much fun on the date tonight!!

Love the simplicity of this sweater too. It looks great styled with this skirt and is an awesome transitional piece between Winter and Spring :)

Thanks! I’m posting it again already for it’s second appearance on the blog today. I decided to hang onto it even though it’s a little on the big side. It’s just so cozy!
