We had such an amazing time in NYC! We did lots of things we hadn’t done on previous trips and enjoyed beautiful, sunny weather and the company of family and good friends. I celebrated my thirtieth birthday with people I love and couldn’t ask for anything more. Here are some highlights from our trip. Get ready for a photo explosion…
Walking along the Brooklyn Bridge…
Check out my hilarious hiking tan lines from the week before! That one goes on the awkward list.
View of the Manhattan Bridge. So gorgeous!
I could set up shop at this doorstep! We fell in love with our neighborhood near Washington Square Park.
Want to see the rest? Join me after the jump.
The High Line is a walking park built on old el train tracks. It’s gorgeously designed and includes small eateries and musicians.
View of the new World Trade Center tower. It’s already up to the 104th floor!
Husband looks into the memorial pools at the 9/11 Memorial. This is a must-do next time you’re in NYC. It’s a spiritual experience.
Enjoying the view from Top of the Rock… A great way to begin celebrating my thirtieth birthday!
View of Central Park from Top of the Rock.
Husband found a ferret at the Natural History Museum.
We took in a game at New Yankee Stadium. Yankees versus Red Sox and the Yankees (with Ichiro in #30) won.
We saw Sister Act starring Raven Simone on my birthday, too. She was outstanding and the show was a hoot!
We heart NYC!
