Halloween is absolutely one of my favorite days of the whole year. It’s been my favorite holiday since I was little, when my mama would hand sew my costumes per my whacky requests. I’ve been everything from scary witch, pink fluffy cat (I think I lost ten pounds that year from sweating inside the fake fur costume), vampire, clown (eek!), majorette, Mary Tyler Moore, Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, the list goes on and on.

This year I’m lacking inspiration, but it’s my mission to figure out my costume this weekend. That said, I found this little video amusing! It’s 100 years of historically accurate Halloween costumes in a mere 3 minutes. The papier-mâché masks are super trippy, but my little Disney heart loves the Minnie Mouse costume from 1925, especially with the bloomers. Nice touch. I don’t know that I’ll be repeating the papier-mâché mask trend, but if you have any costume ideas for me, I’d love to hear them! What are you planning to be this Halloween?
