Worn Chambray shirt: Banana Republic, patent leather belt: thrifted, skirt: Nordstrom Rack (not sure what brand…), black tights: Spanx, oxfords: Urban Outfitters.

Details I’m happy to say my chambray shirt has found new life with my skirts.  Although the 30 for 30 challenge has definitely brought to light my lack of skirts that I love.  I threw these skirts in to give myself more options for outfits, but I feel like I’ve had more luck remixing my dresses than these skirts.  On a recent trip to the tailor, husband and I dropped off lots of things.  Ok….he dropped off lots of things and I dropped off one skirt.  But this skirt is the great, adorable hope for my skirt collection.  This red belt has been fun to play with.  I keep getting new ideas for it everyday.  I’m on the hunt for more statement color belts to add to my wardrobe as the 30 for 30 definitely puts a desire for accessories into your brain…as if I didn’t already have that obsession…

I’m a bit off track on my posts this week and I’m sorry for that, dear readers!  I have had a very busy work week and I’m sure you know how that goes.  Sometimes life trumps blog.  I’m thrilled that I’ll be bringing this 30 on home over the weekend with my plan to wear two outfits in one day on my road trip.  I’m traveling across the state to visit my oldest (that’s not right…scratch that) longest (is she really tall or something…?) dearest friend’s baby shower and I absolutely can’t wait to see her.  So much so that I’ll be trudging through Snoqualmie Pass (read: snowy, windy, sometimes scary roadways) to hug her big ol’ belly and celebrate her forthcoming little one with some gifts.  I’ll try to keep up the blogging wherever possible.
