DSC_0946 DSC_0963DSC_0949DSC_0942DSC_0950DSC_0936Happy Monday, everyone! I had such a busy weekend full of fun events and working on report cards, that it feels like getting into this week will be more restful than my weekend! I can’t complain though. I got to celebrate two dear friends at a bridal shower and baby shower that were held back to back on Saturday and got to see and catch up with so many lovely ladies I hadn’t seen in a million years (or since undergrad, which feels like a million years ago sometimes!). The days are feeling longer and it’s easier to snap photos after work. We’re just a few days from the official start of spring. Life is good.

I have been on a bit of a spending freeze as of late, but I picked up this dress several weeks ago using all my Banana Republic rewards points. I was a little uncertain about it in the store, but best friend C. talked me into it and it’s been hanging in my closet just waiting for that first no-tights-day. I got so many compliments on it, which just affirms my feeling that wrap dresses are one of style’s greatest gifts to women, and that C. always has the best advice. This wrap dress is made of a stretchy, cotton-blend materials that’s perfect for this spring transition time of year and comes in a variety of colors, some of which are already on sale!
