What is it about maxi dresses? They always have a sort of boho-chic vibe to me somehow. I decided to switch it up and wear my favorite maxi dress with a little knotted tee and strappy sandals and it feels like a whole new dress. I love it when I can get all newly excited about old favorites by creating different pairings. I’m a big mix n’ match kinda gal, just without the matching part. There’s very little I won’t try. This little tee has been perfect with just about everything from miniskirts to jeans and now over dresses. Ironically it reads Eye See Everything, which I certainly do not. At least I can envision it with just about anything else in my closet. This shirt may wield some black magic.
I’ve been working on my first quilt for most of the weekend and it’s going great so far! I can’t wait to share it with you once it’s a little bit farther along. It’s an ombre design I put together with eight different shades of blue. I’m still playing around with different hand quilting ideas, but am getting close to that part of the project. It’s a labor of love, but oh so satisfying!
