Can we talk about buffalo plaid for a second? I’m obsessed. By definition, buffalo plaid is a bi-color one-inch plaid. I’ve been combing the stores looking for just the right one and then I happened upon this one while trying on coats at Old Navy. Plus it was on sale. Double score. This casual outfit was an obvious choice, but I’m looking forward to putting it with a black skirt, tights and boots for a more date night dressed up look.

Something about this feels very Seattle to me. But then again I say that every time I wear plaid. There’s something about that old school early nineties flannel shirt snuggly sweater thing that screams Seattle to me. This outfit was perfect for chillin’ on a Sunday. It transitioned easily between housework, errands, walking around Fremont, and an evening out. I’m usually pretty dress, to a fault actually, but some days are just made for comfy, easy clothing.
