I’m far from a uniform dresser, but lately this little outfit has been my go to. Black skinny jeans with holes in the knees + silk blouse + black boots. It just always makes me feel good and always works. Dates, evenings out with friends, no matter activity this outfit is my happy place.
I finally took a couple of pairs of shoes to be repaired and I must say it’s always like getting brand new shoes. I haven’t work these boots in nearly two years (my how time flies!) and I forgot how wonderful they are. I love suede boots (weather protected for Seattle, of course) because they give you such a true black.
Now, onto the jewelry. I can’t say enough about this beautiful initial ring from oNecklace. You’ve already heard me wax on about the beautiful pendant, but I have worn this ring just about every day since receiving it in the mail. If you’re looking for a unique holiday gift (for yourself or someone else) this ring is a great choice. I’m also obsessed with this delicate bracelet from jewelry designer Emmy Trinh that I received in my goody bag at the Fashion First fashion show back in September. It’s so delicate that I hardly notice it, and it’s got a powerful magnetic closure that truthfully should be the closure on all bracelets for single girls living alone. Gone are the days of struggling with a clasp. My students get a kick out of the way it sticks to the whiteboard when I’m writing!
