Worn Polka dotted blouse: vintage, gift from Suze of Miss Vinyl Ahoy, jumper: Target, black tights: Spanx, Mary Janes: Sofft, headband: Nordstorm, sterling bead bracelet: Tiffany, handbag: Coach Kristin.

Details These photos are from last week and I’ll never forget making copies that day when a fellow teacher complimented my outfit saying I looked like a teacher from the sixties.  For this gal it doesn’t get any better than that.  Well, only the time that another teacher recently told me I reminded her of That Girl! Sweet.

This outfit came together around this lovely little vintage top.  The polka dots are such a fun, bright color and I knew the large color would look great tucked into this simple subtle plaid dress.  From far away the dress reads as a solid, so it added texture while letting the top take center stage.  I saw a model in an old InStyle magazine wearing her long wavy hair in a side pony with a sweet little headband.  I think this new style was a great addition to make this look really stand out.

This top came to me in a box from the lovely Suze of Miss Vinyl Ahoy. She is 1-2-3 brilliant when it comes to mixing patterns, brights, and vintage into everyday style.

Don’t you love these photos? She’s one of my absolute favorites and you must visit her now.  Feel free to come back and thank me.
