The sun came out in Seattle today and I truly couldn’t be happier. I celebrated by racing home straight away after work and taking bunches of photos before the sun went down. People who’ve never experienced a Seattle summer always seem to wonder why we put up with the cold, rainy weather so many months out of the year. True Seattleites don’t complain about the rain (at least for long) and know it’s all worth it on days like today.

I had last week off of work for mid-winter break, and took most of last Thursday to clean out my closet. I piled things up to sell, donate, repair, and dry clean, and even made a list of holes in my closet, a few of which I filled on a shopping trip with one of my BFFs last Sunday. Going through each of my treasures one by one, I was so happy to find this gorgeous, green Dooney & Bourke saddle bag just in time for spring. It’ll definitely go down in my thrifted finds hall of fame. If you want a blast from the past, check out these super old posts featuring the same bag!  I bought this sleeveless utility jacket back in December, and although it sat in my closet for months, I knew I would get a ton of wear out of it when the weather warmed up. Check out some other ways I’ve worn it here and here.
