Worn Red trench and navy wide trousers: Target, Breton stripe sweater: LOFT, shoes: Payless, clutch and earrings: Banana Republic, sunnies: Prada, pearl necklace: Honora, early Easter gift from my Mama.

Details Today was the most relaxing day.  I got up early and watched an episode of Sarah’s House with my Mama, one of the best things about spending time with her.  We drank our coffee and discussed each little nuance of the design and I wished she could skip out on work and spend the rest of the day with me doing just that… and sewing of course.  Then I worked on sewing for as long as possible which included hand sewing the closures to two of my five pillows, restitching the pillow that popped open  in trying to shove the pillow insert into it and preparing it to hand sew, and cutting out fabric for the other two pillows I hadn’t started yet.  I think I am officially addicted to sewing. I quick got ready before heading out for lunch with my MIL (mother in law) across town (more on that to come).

For today’s outfit I just wanted to be as casual and comfortable as I felt.  I threw my hair up in a little top knot, played with stripes with my Breton sweater, stripey peep toes, and the lining of this great trench.  The best part about this coat, besides the fun color and comfy fit, was the fact that I got it on super clearance in the store for just $24.97.  Love that.  I couldn’t resist leaving the house without this gorgeous necklace, given to me upon my arrival by my lovely mother.
