I have the hardest time buying neutrals. I’ve said it before here several times, but I always go for the printed, colorful, bold patterned, emotional choice when shopping. Many times this serves me as I’m unafraid of putting bold prints and colors together and find a secret joy in pushing the boundaries. But then there’s fall. Fall is such a great time for buying all those little things you’ve been searching for all year, like black pants or a black skirt. Or a leather jacket. I always have the most amazing luck shopping the Spokane Valley Nordstrom Rack on visits to my Mama’s place and this time was no exception. After dreaming for years of owning my own leather jacket I found the perfect one on a great sale at Rack over the weekend and just could not put it down. Even with the amazing sale it was a bit of a splurge, but I just needed it, you know?
I paired it with this sweet ballet pink blouse and my new five pocket Sloan pants from Banana Republic. I love how this look came together, especially with the leopard wedges. On a sidenote, tomorrow is picture day at school… What’s a gal to wear?
Check out another way I wore this ballet pink blouse last Christmas here.
