Change is in the air, you guys. I can feel it. It’s spring, and honestly, quite possibly my favorite time of the whole year. The sun comes out, there’s some kick-ass thunderstorms, the flowers are blooming, birds are chirping, my class is like a family that I’m starting to worry about saying goodbye to, and summer is still far enough away that anything is possible. In short, life is good.
Add in a major home office redesign and I’m feeling positively energized to create some lovely things with the rest of my 2015.
I’m still in major home clean-out, organize, purge, and improve mode. I have a little list building of tasks to complete during my spring break next week, most importantly the currently two (yikes!) storage lockers I have collecting dust in the basement of my building. Not to mention a few things in the garage. Most of it I don’t even look at or use and I’m excited to organize every little corner of my life. I’ve been selling things like crazy and have really gotten into eBay. It’s so simple, and it’s fun to watch what happens and to hopefully make some money in the process. I’m working up some posts about my purging and selling adventures so look for that soon. Any tips for me?
I have to talk for a moment about this handbag. It’s stunning. It’s slouchy and roomy and the loveliest shade of yellow, my favorite color. Ellington Handbags is a luxury leather goods company out of Portland and they make the most beautiful things. They were generous enough to send me this bag for an honest review. It was waiting at my door the evening I returned from Disneyland, and it felt like the sunshine followed me home. I’ve been using it ever since and have gotten boatloads of compliments on it. They make tons of beautiful styles and you should go check them out at once. I’d love to hear which one is your favorite!
