Hello friends! It’s been absolutely stunningly gorgeous in Seattle. Not to mention super hot! It’s been in the eighties both last weekend and into this week, so my boyfriend J. and I decided to take advantage of our common day off Sunday and get some sunshine. We went down to the water near Lake Union (I’m not exactly sure what this little spot near Ivar’s Salmon House is called) and watched all of the boats, canoes, kayaks, and paddle-boarders living it up. It was such a beautiful day and a fun way to spend part of our afternoon.

That’s the Fremont bridge behind me in the below photo. It was fun to watch it go up and down for so many little boats, then stay down for a super tall sailboat we were sure would hit the underside of the bridge! It was a total mind trick!

Two outfit posts in a row! You can tell it’s summer and I’m spending more time outside! I did get in some quality time cleaning my apartment top to bottom on Saturday, though, and am rearranging some art in my place soon so I’ll have some Happy Home posts coming right up. As for this outfit, it’s a super stretch-cotton dress I found on clearance at UO a couple of summers ago. Nothing to write home about, but perfect for these super hot days. I finally picked up a pair of Birks, but I found the more budget-friendly Betula option (still made by Birkenstock) at Nordstrom Rack for half the price! Thanks to all of my Instagram friends for helping me out when I couldn’t decide! White was the overwhelming favorite and I’ve been wearing them non-stop! I knew you guys would come through! Let’s follow each other there, too! You can find me at lindsayliving.
