I’ve waxed poetic about weekends before, but this Saturday was a particularly lovely day. I woke up lazily after an evening out with friends the night before, got ready and met up with two of my favorite girls, Bri from Work Clothes, I Suppose and Katrina of The Demure Muse for brunch at Serious Biscuit in South Lake Union. We all had baked eggs and chatted about everything from dating to Bri’s wedding plans, career aspirations and indie wedding gown designers. I can’t say it enough, but I love those girls! I snapped these photos after brunch on my way to my haircut, followed by some browsing around my favorite stores where I found the last Seahawks Super Bowl Champions tee in my size at Old Navy. Yes!
After I finally got home and was finalizing my evening plans, a buddy called and asked if I wanted to play in the snow. Snow? It’s snowing?? Yes. The whole city is covered in a blanket of white and although my original plans fell through I spent a lovely evening wandering through the snow with one of my best friends taking in the fact that white fluffy snow makes even dumpsters look pretty. And as he belted out the bars of “New York, New York” in a cozy bar, I couldn’t help but thing that it was the perfect kind of Saturday.
