I have to admit, I was a bit stumped on this month’s Third Thursday Threads. Bri selected menswear-inspired for this week’s theme and I’m such a girly dresser I was at a total loss while pawing through my closet. Since I don’t own any super cool suspenders, ties or even a blazer, I went back to my roots and channeled what I consider to be classic Seattle style. Plaid shirts, clunky boots, and snuggly scarves. Even my plaid is silk. I suppose this is as menswear as I get.

I was afraid to miss the light Wednesday night when I snapped these photos, but they turned out so interesting and different under the lamplight dusk of evening and I caught some beautiful blue shadows in these shots. I might have to try it again sometime. This blouse might be my favorite ever. I’ve worn it over and over, but it’s another one that’s only made it on the blog once before.

Check out how I wore this blouse last spring here. And don’t forget to check out the rest of the menswear-inspired looks here.
