I can’t believe it’s been two weeks since my last post! That’s insane! I’ve been so busy with school, socializing, and enjoying the great weather we’ve been having that I barely even noticed it’d been that long. I took these photos back on May 1st, and am happy to finally get them up. I got out for some more photos this afternoon so I should be back to my regular schedule. We’re winding down towards the end of the year and there’s only (gasp!) 5 more Mondays until the year is out. I know I say it every year, but it went by so quickly this year! I’m not yet ready to say goodbye to my hilarious, sweet, and adorable class, so I play to enjoy each and every minute with them over the next month.
I got this skirt and top from thredUP last summer as part of a collaboration I did with them. It was an outfit I planned to wear back then that never happened. This is only the second time I’ve worn this skirt (like ever) and I’ve been waiting for warm temps to do it up right. This is not the kind of skirt a girl ruins with tights. Speaking of thredUP, I honestly cannot recommend them enough! I got the cutest stuff from them (click links below for full info on these items) and I just packed up my third clean out back and put it in the mail today. It’s such a nice feeling to let go of old things and make more space in my life. Spring cleaning has hit me hard this year. I attacked my classroom, car, closet… Now to get on with my storage closet and the rest of my apartment. I’m pretty tidy and organized, but there’s always more stuff to get rid of. We’re having a big yard sale in my neighborhood soon and I can’t wait to unload some more stuff.
Check out how I wore this skirt the first time around last summer.
