DSC_0979DSC_0977 DSC_1004 DSC_0982DSC_1002 DSC_0988DSC_0971I don’t want to get my hopes up, but I think it’s spring. It put a little sparkle in my eye and spring in my step. This called for some peep-toe pumps, natural hair, and, of course, shockingly pink lip color. I don’t know if it’s the shoes, the mid-rise jeans, the cropped button down and cardi combo, or the combination of all of the above that make this look feel a little pin-uppy to me. I guess I always feel that 50s vibe when I tuck in shirts with skinnies and pair it with peep-toes and bold lips. All I know is I’m happy to have found another way to wear this little TOPSHOP top. I love it, but the silhouette is a little limiting since it’s a little blousy and a little cropped in length.

I’m working on my budget right now and am not spending money on clothing. That said, this spring I’ve been avoiding stores (and temptation) and shopping my own closet. Thusly, a lot of the pieces in this post are hard to find links for, but I’ll work on finding some similar pieces later today after school. Are you saving or splurging this spring?
