Yesterday was my last day at my summer job. Coincidentally today was filled with school activities as I prepare for the fall and the first rain Seattle has seen in weeks. I woke up ready to start focusing on school, but definitely not ready for this stinkin’ fall weather. I still have a little summer left that I’d like to enjoy. Does anyone know how to get a memo up to the clouds? Ugh.
Today I’m linking up with Bri of Work Clothes, I Suppose for her Third Thursday Threads link-up for geometric prints. Check out everyone else’s geometric print outfits here. This is also my fourth outfit from my green polka dotted box of fun from thredUP! The print of this dress immediately caught my eye because it reminds me of a Frank Stella painting in a way. I’m excited to style it up with tights, boots, and a sweater come fall.
In other news I should get a medal for not buying anything on my last day of work at the summer retail job. I thought long and hard about it, too. Luckily I’ll be staying on one day a month so I get to keep my discount. Score! I also kept thinking about that brown leather tote. Thanks so much for all of your heartfelt advice and words of wisdom. I’ve decided, after careful consideration, that I’m okay with buying it if I can raise the money for it by selling other items from my closet. I sold my first item on PoshMark for $35 today (I’m lindsayliving there, too!) so I have a little start on the tote fund. I’m also planning to sell some clothing on eBay, so if you have any tips on that I would LOVE to hear it.
