Oh, hi! I’m so sorry for the unintended blog break there for a few extra days. Coming back from holiday break this year has been such a busy time. I got two new students in two weeks, am teaching some new units that are super time-consuming, and have been super focused on getting back into my workout routine post holiday yummy-fest. I can’t believe it’s already January 16th and nearly time for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day three-day weekend. I’m thrilled to report my family is coming to visit me this weekend and we’ll be playing Seattle tourist everywhere we go, so I’m hoping to snap some photos and share some of our adventures here next week.

I bought this dream of a little white skirt on super clearance at Banana Republic and this is the second time I’ve work it. I previously wore it to a Santa-themed pub crawl and although I wasn’t super Santa-y, I have big plans for pulling together a Claus-inspired look using this skirt again next year if I participate. This comfy cowl sweater is kind of short and boxy which I like with jeans, but when paired with a skirt felt overly bulky. I decided to knot it at the waist and it kept the silhouette of the skirt I wanted to show off front and center.
