Details Well, that’s it! I’m back from my spring break adventures and preparing to get back to work tomorrow morning. I always say this, but I can’t believe it went so fast. As my friends like to remind me, at least I have a spring break. ‘Nuff said.
This is the third of there three spring items from my friends at The Limited and it might be my favorite. The Atwood Jacket, worn here in navy, is a super flattering and comfy cut good for both casual and dressy ensembles. With its many pockets and waist tie it has a safari vibe, while the luxe fabrication is totally appropriate for the office. I went back and forth on how to style it and ultimately decided to pair it with my new favorite dress. I already know both of these pieces will become quick staples in my spring and summer wardrobe. Loving them both!
These little teal shoes have quite the history, too. They were a gift from my mother-in-law when I was in undergrad and they are my favorite color. Those were the days when I wore more turquoise than a 65-year-old in Tuscan! It was kinda my thing. Of all of my teal treasures these shoes were on a pedestal that I thought could never be surpassed by any other item and they’ve been there for many of life’s silly and splendid moments. Funny how something like a pair of heels can hold just about as many memories as a song, a scent or a good friend.
