On Sunday I had the pleasure of attending the Memoir by SEVEN fashion show at Bellevue Fashion Week! I had VIP tickets and a plus one (front row, baby!) so I invited my good pal Oliver Villafuerte, a super talented makeup artist with Aveda downtown Seattle (don’t you just love his knuckle ring?!). The event was put on and sponsored by SEVEN the Salon, and featured amazing hairstyles designed by their very talented artists and clothing from all local designers. I’m still wading through the mountain of photos I took and I can’t wait to share them with you later this week along with some more details about the event. Oh! And a big thanks for Oliver for snapping some shots of my outfit before the show!
For the show I knew I wanted to wear my new 3.1 Philip Lim for Target skirt and I wanted to create a bold pairing that included more colors than were present in the skirt. I opted to tuck in this DVF blouse and add tights, booties, a wool coat and scarf because it was super cold and rainy that night. I got lots of compliments on this one and felt very fashion-y, even though my Philip Lim was purchased at Target (haha). It’s one of those outfits that I’d love to wear sans tights and with my nude heels though. Maybe next spring!
