Thanksgiving was such a blessing. I really needed the break and time to recoup and get spoiled by my family. My mama stocked the fridge with my favorite sugar-free Coffee-mate, let me sleep in until 10 (whoa!), worked out with me the morning of Thanksgiving, and I spent some quality time chatting, reading, and tinkering with my blog design with the wonderful sound of football games in the background. I love Thanksgiving.
I took these photos on the way to my mama’s house. I absolutely love road-tripping, especially in my home state. Washington is so beautiful, even in the desert. I’m from a desert city, so I feel right at home once the evergreens thin out and the tumble weeds roll in. These photos were taken at Wild Horses Monument, fifteen surprisingly lifelike horse sculptures on a bluff overlooking the Columbia River. They are the work of Spokane artist David Govedare, and Wild Horses is one of my favorite spots in Washington.
I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday with your family and friends. I have so much to be thankful for this year and want to say thanks for reading this little blog of mine. I love putting it together and appreciate you for reading. Cheers!
