Let me just say, I’m crazy about this dress. I worked for Banana Republic over the summer so I could make some extra cash, but in reality I ended up taking a little too much advantage of the generous discount. Lucky for me, the Issa London Collection for Banana Republic was released at the end of the summer, just in time for fall so I got to use the discount on this special dress. I thought about going for one of the more traditional styles like this or this, but ultimately, as is generally true on my shopping trips, I had to go with my gut; the emotional, colorful, wildly printed choice. I kept the styling really simple with nude wedges and my new favorite tote (can you say obsessed much?!), and what you can’t see are my giant, white Kate Spade earrings and my cocktail ring which somehow didn’t make it into these photos.

This dress is incredibly comfortable and I love love love the sleeves. They’re so dramatic! I’m excited to try pairing this dress with brown tights and boots once the weather starts cooling down. On that note, today was officially the hottest day of the year here in Seattle. It was over 90 degrees today, if you can believe that! Insane! I spent most of the day indoors in my air conditioned classroom, so I never got overheated, even in these sleeves.
