I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends! I indulged in two Thanksgivings this year; Friendsgiving with boyfriend’s friends and Thanksgiving with my family, plus countless goodies at school. Ugh. With all the busyness of completing report cards and conferences, I barely had time to workout, either. Double ugh. That said, I was hell bent on keeping up my Thanksgiving day tradition of working out the morning of turkey day. To keep myself motivated I recently updated a few key pieces of clothing in my workout wardrobe.
First up was new workout pants. I am in love with the Revelation pants from Athleta. They are cute, comfy and can double as leggings on a casual Sunday game day. Next up was workout tops. I finally found some workout tanks I love, these extra long ones, again from Athleta. They are so comfy and cute and I want them in every pattern and color. I also picked up the Uptown Down Jacket from Athleta, too. I was in the market for something super warm and comfy, yet athletic for those cold weather walks around Greenlake or around the neighborhood and this jacket is perfect. I’m still in the market for some new running shoes and have my eye on these New Balance stunners. I’ve also been asking for a fitbit Flex for Christmas to help me track activity, calories and sleep and help keep me motivated all year long. What are your fitness essentials right now?
