There are some outfits that just work. You know? You can just pull together the similar pieces and you know you can just roll out of bed, put them on, and feel fantastic. I think I find a new version of the “perfect outfit” every season. So far this spring it’s all about long sleeve, easy going dresses, structured satchels, and neutral ankle strap sandals, with block heels of course. It just works!I teach math everyday as a second grade teacher, and I got to thinking about it the other day like a very simple math equation. Once you put together the pieces in just the right way, you get to your goal. In this case, my goal is an incredibly easy yet pulled together outfit.

This first outfit is from my post with Zappos + ShopStyle from earlier this week. Before I selected the final pieces, I filled up My Favorites list with similar pieces to find just the right combination. Now if only I could bring home all of the pieces above I’d have one killer spring wardrobe! The nice thing is all of these dresses are well under $100. I prefer saving a bit of cash on dresses so I can buy higher quality shoes and handbags. A beautiful designer handbag or pair of shoes elevates your whole outfit. That’s why you’ll often see me wearing thrifted dresses with an investment handbag.
