I fell in love with TOMS shoes recently, but last night when trying them on at Nordstrom I was a bit stunned by the price.  I mean, I know that they send a pair of shoes to a child in need, but anything over $50 makes me think twice, especially when it weighs just a few ounces and and feels a little…well, flimsy.

Doing some online research I found this alternative at Payless.com.  Airwalk is making their new HOPE shoe, which costs just $19.99 and also donates a pair of children’s shoes to World Vision to help needy children in Central America with every purchase.  All in all a good alternative, if you’re in love with the comfort and style, but looking for a lower price.
